Comments
For example, batch deletions, a warning if you try to delete an email with an attachment, and once you open to compose, that message stays as a draft if you realise you need to go back and split an item before attaching.
I'd also really love to be able to delete a bag in order to replace it with a bigger one. (My first character still has THREE 12 slot bags)
A small personal one that I just recently came across... allow elemental "Seeker" wands to be BtA. So that if you have charges left over they aren't wasted.
You can do this already.
You need to have the bag you want to get rid of empty of items.
Then move onto one of the slots within the bag where it will give you the option to press A to pick up this empty bag. Then just discard the smaller bag (or save it in your Bank in case they ever increase bag slots again) & then you can equip a larger bag.
I play on xbox and really need a way to make the chat font/size bigger. Some of the time, I simply can't read anything unless I stand right next to the TV set. Not realistic. Makes sense for a pc game but definitely not for a console game.
Speaking of accessibility, I want some sort of control to handle the glare issue in Bryn Shander, and to a limited extent in IWD. I've stopped going to SKT zones. The glare kills my eyes and gives me a headache.
I want better indications for caps reached. If I reach 1000 Fey sparks and can't collect more, the UI should give a visual hint that I'm at cap. Different font color/size/highlight...whatever. With so many different caps in the game, it's impossible to keep track of it all.
I would also like a DM guide that keeps track of daily seal earnings and available weeklies, so that I can quickly see what I need to run on each toon. It's not so easy when you have 8 viable alts and you actually like to play all of them. Would pay more than 1AD for it too.
Also, I would love a 'saved AH search' feature. I usually search for the same exact things over and over but don't always remember where they're listed. Some kits/packs aren't where you expect. So, once I find the correct combo for locating an item on the AH, it would be nice to save that for future searches.
Right now what I want most is email/communication improvements and guild management tools
Email
The ability to forward an email
An address book
Inter-guild (alliance) leader email and chat channel for the same
Guild Management
Please bring back the inspect option
Last seen column in guild roster
Donation management or better views for donations
Guild and alliance calendars so we can post events

How about Factional Allegiance being extended beyond Icewind Dale?
How about if guilds and alliances could align with The Harpers, or The stinky Zhents?
This could allow for a shake up of guild boons, allowing Faction specific boons, giving players something more to think about when choosing a guild.
Political intrigue and donations akin to Tiamat could show the sway in power between the factions, offering the devs new options for plot lines beyond, "There's a new threat... go kill it."
Players aligned to a faction might also be able to access additional quests for wearing the relevant cloak, (or a neck piece skinned to look like it) there could be an internal timer of, say, 8 hours before it opens the quest to avoid people just swapping them at will.
For instance "Min/Max Quantity" so if someone wants 500 lockboxes they can look at lots in that range.
"Most" special things from CTA's and Events should be Bound on Account with some exceptions, such as mounts, potions, and so on. As for things like the Peg Leg, Anniversary cloaks etc should be bound so some people have something to look forward to when they roll around. Personal option I think the Halloween Mask's should be Bound, but Im not sure if people would agree, it would make them a lot more precious to players if they were.
Address book, a place to store names (and some details) of interest for future use with an interface to pick multiple contacts for a message, just like you can do with almost every email interface. The type ahead is nice if you already know all the names you want, but it would be sweet to be able to open some sort of page or screen to pick names from a pre-existing list...

The BoA specials, after a while, become an argument for the Wardrobe idea, to have a separate space to store them. I mean, until one can get to the point of buying multiple medium to large bags, those novelty items start crowding out space that could go to refinement stuffs.
I'd also like to see a custom guild sigil/banner that can be designed by leaders and placed on all banners/flags in the GH and members being able to purchase a 'guild cloak' transmute from the GH merchant that shows the sigil - similar to the new ones from Mantol Derith.

If mix matching dyes was a thing, Guilds could create their own colour scheme to match their banners.
Fix the broken HEs in Elemental Evil zones.
I don't do PvP so the few Shards of Conquest I get come from that campaign line. And some of those Encounters are broken in ways that should be reasonably easy to fix. (Aquatic Elves in Shore and Travelling Merchants in Rock scream out for a fix...)
There might also be scope for the guilds to be able to sell stuff like guild cloaks (R1 Appearance change only...) and guild dye packs, so that rather than simply spending guild marks players could spend AD at the guild, and a cut goes into the guild.
How about, rather than immunity, the "You have been defeated" message has the option to use Soulforged?
Of course you are going to... but you can decide when. Just like with a scroll of life.
No immunity, so you're still easy prey till you pop a stone of health or potion, but you can let potion cooldowns expire and wait for monsters to move before using the soulforged.

-. Vonimblood reward to effort ratio (200 for 10+ Heroic and 30 for 3+ Heroic feels insulting).
-. Some region completion quests are level bound (i.e. black dagger) which causes it to be unable to complete those region completion quests in the journal\rewards if you outlevel the requirements.
-. Some way to preview the mount insignia bonusses before equiping\purchasing them (stable preview thing is excellent btw).
-. In general the game design is wierd; it is geared to reward players for having multiple characters and punishes those that like to excel on a single on character (i.e. daily AD limit on character), where as in other instances the reverse happens (i.e. invoking). This causes a lot of economical abuse i.e. salvage limit being circumvented by using multiple characters and a huge disadvantage to single focused players. Change the whole system to have larger (way larger) limit but let the limit be an account limit in order to have a fair limit to both multi and single character players.
-. The chat filter is wierd to say the least. Words like it and got are filtered as bad words. If the filter cant be changed please give us the option to disable the filter and endure all the bad words we like to or not like to read.
-. Please translate the items back into the client language a player is playing. I.e. If a French player links his item then have it display in French for him but in English for me and in Greek for the guy using the Greek client. Same for the admin spam.
...but more to your point, yeah, there's a lot of optimal endgame strategy that totally revolves around using alts as a quiet drone army to circumvent other caps.
As an alternative (pun semi-intended) to your suggesting a larger daily refinement limit that is account-wide, I'd also suggest some sort of even higher refinement limit for accounts that only have one character (or, to avoid people creating and deleting characters to get around this, have only had one character for say 2 - 4 weeks or more).
They can then fine-tune the math on the back end to make it so that there's 2 viable paths for players: continue with the current alt approach so that people can still play as they're used to, or play one and only one character yet be reasonably confident that otherwise optimized play will let you bring in close to the same amount of AD and stuff overall.
