i know lol...im trying to remember when exactly this idea of a daily quest/mission came about in MMO games. maybe im going senile or have drank my brain away but i don't really recall there being such a thing in thde first mmos......i liked that lol
Just when you think you're done with the boons, BAM! Your stronghold needs the campaign currencies to level up, OH and by the way, if you forgo those guild boons you miss out on a 8000 power boon that the other guilds have. Jeez way to go ARC (golf clap)
This game equals a never ending grind. 5 hours a day isn't enough to all the above mentioned.
mmm... Strongholds will be updated in the future to go along with the newer end game when the time comes. aka most likely GH 25 etc. Yes it's a grind, but isn't that the point?

Hmmm. I currently can't think of an MMO that doesn't have dailies at level cap. It's a pretty widely used mechanic.
My opinions are my own. I do not work for PWE or Cryptic. - Forum Rules - Protector's Enclave Discord - I play on Xbox Any of my comments not posted in orange are based on my own personal opinion and not official. you can buy campaign vouchers yahknow. they tend to be worth more than the grind anyway.
I'm not in the business of diming out players, but.....
To really "win," there needs to be losers. . . . and those who win put in the time and play/buy smart. If the game was easy, everyone would be LVL 70 in a week with all the same gear.
As I said to another user on another post, the problem may be a simple as respec'ing your toon, or getting Mount insignias (or mounts for that matter) that increase your stats. Try mixing up your active companions, and track which combination of 5 gives your toon the best buffs/stats.
With the Winter Festival and the Gifts of Simril, its a buyer's market on the AH right now. Prices for everything I mentioned above have been driven way down. It is extremely economical for newer players, or players coming back to NW, to "catch up" to others.

I like dailies, gives me something to do (Other than fishing atm). I doubt they'll add any more boons. 4/5 boons per campaign so far. Hopefully it'll be the same with SKT, because there aren't enough TTS Dailies to both progress AND get boons.
Granted though, SKT is the most grindey campaign thus far...don't even get me started on Voninblod...and NOW the removal of Runic LB drops.
Yup them dailies are really killings. I did them only to complete the individual campaigns anyway. Glad that is over. The last one (Storm King's Thunder) for the 5th boon wasn't even worth it, such a lame bonus you get of any of the four you can choose.
