How good is stacking AoE resist for a CW pvp character?

Hi,

I'm no expert however I think that it is not so important to specifically choose items/skills that increase this stat over others.

If however there is an item/skill that complements your build and has this stat it can't hurt.

If you choose to remember that diminishing returns hit hard at around 1000 so 1,200 would be the max I would go. (I say 1,200 because a mythic artifact with this stat for example would give you 600 and 2 would be 1,200.

let it happen naturally or with mount insignia bonuses i have mine at around 9%
*and its very good btw* also stacks with extra dex
I was using it when no one else was and there are 2 boons I think that have it too

Thanks all mighty Kalina, i have 1 boon, was planning to buy shard of orcus wand (artifact) instead of something else. What are your thoughts on using an artifact like this one?

I am not using any belt neck artefact set bonus I am mixing and matching so I dont really have an opinion
except artifacts with combat advantage or cc resist or extra control or stamina gain I might fill up/ get first

AoE resists, in general, are not that good powers to stack around. They scale in very low numbers, so you're better of with deflection probability.
Most powers in PvP are single-target anyway.
