SW Dreadtheft Issue?

Quite often when I activate dreadtheft it will fire behind me or to the right/left of me instead of the intended target. There's no other enemies around just the ones in front of me when I use it just totally fires towards a different direction away from the enemies.

I've had this happen here and there upon release to PS4 but lately it's happening alot more often!

What gives?
