Bound items (per char or per account) - deep storage

Not much you can do with a bound item that's no longer useful except sell for a pittance (like, a few copper / silver) and sometimes even then one can't sell them. Would be nice if one had the option say a few times a day to move any one bound item to a "deep storage" that doesn't count against bag space. I mean I get why a bunch of items are bound, to try to reign in / redirect the game's economy and make bot farming that much harder... but it gets to be a hassle when a lot of my current equipment is bound but not as useful anymore.

I suppose one could also say it would be nice if I learned better equipment and bag space management so as not to run into the problem in the first place.
