Twisted Talisman on Fire Archon?

Guys i have an idea that may be wrong. Could i possibly equip a fire archon with a legendary twisted talisman? It has 2 slots, it gives double power, it doesnt give Arp(thats good), it gives 300 more crit and 700 more recovery.

    I think you can't equip artifact equips on companions but I'm not 100% sure about that.
