Great Weapon Figther Gear Help.

Dear Fighters,

as I already wrote in another thread I turned 70. Now Im already on this level since a 2 weeks or sth like this and made some progress in the campaigns (not that much, had to find my way into the endgame but already no real clue).

So Im asking for some help from the more experienced playerst with GWF or also other classes out there how to proceed. Im doing my dailies for the campaigns and queing up for some dungeons and skrimmishes and also did Tiamat this weekend (no award, but finished under Gold?)

So my item level is now at a point of 1950 - 1970 sth about this (have one part frostborn, but will dump this as I have to reload it after 1 hour fighting) Enchants between level 6 - 8, have a helmet from Tiamands trade bars, and 2 items from the Alliance set in the enclave.

So I make decent damage (throne of the dwarfs about 15 - 18 mil mostly 1st.) So I think the armor is not that Bad...

But how do I get gear with higher item level, and which gear shall I work towards (I know the high end game gear as on Lia knowles build but that is far away)


So what shall be my next step to get the gear up to 2000 for the epic dungeons and how to proceed afterwards, could not find that much after searching on google, maybe you could help me out with how to get along with this.

If it helps I would also send a detailed list of my Equip :-)

Until you can get drag flight armor, 2 pieces of dusk and 2 pieces of drow craft is, imo, your best option. This gives you great set bonuses and also let's you do demo a bit easier.

Accessories should be either lostmauth set or orcus set. Orcus set is more expensive for the artifact, but belt and necklace are cheap (you get necklace for completing Maze engine I believe). Lostmauth probably better stats for pve but orcus better for pvp imo.

You can also farm for 2 slotted rings in throne. Anything with power or crit is good for pve. Or you can make personalized gemmed exquisite piercing rings if you have jewlcrafting. Either way, make sure you get 2 slotted rings.

Pants and shirt should also be berserk gemmed exquisite.

If you're just looking to raise ilvl, refining your artifacts is the fastest way. Taking them to orange is pretty simple and nets a large ilvl increase and more importantly a stat increase.

Also you could then try do Demo there you will get great rings +2 +3 +4 like brutality ring

Thanks for your Infos, Demo is I think Demorogon? that is listed as 2500 item level, can not take place there...

how can I get the drag flight armor? The drow armor I can buy at mantol derith? Think I have 1 part of it atm, the shirt and trousers are now the berserk with ilvl 143...

My item level is now 2003 that was a big step that I could buy 1 or maybe 2 Drow thing + the berserks but my gear is pretty mixed up :-) As I said it is hard to get the overview as there is so much to do and I really dont know how to best farm the things I need to buy, I hunted for Black Ice now that things are not that good anymore, so I wasted my time :-)

I think I need demon blood? for the drow armor at mantol derith... The thing I do atm to get this things is doing herioc encounters in the open world and running the dwarf scrimmish over and over again, but that can not be the solution? there should be a better way?

Nothing will boost your dps more than a 3 offense slot companion with rank 12 bondings and rank 12 azures. You could be 4k ilvl and if you didn't have that you'd be <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> to a 2.5k with that. Focus less on ilvl.

Thank you, so you mean I shall invest into the lvl 12 stones first? Yes I know not to concentrate to much on ilvl thats the bad thing in all games with such system :-) But to take parte in a Dungeon, Demo, Tiamat or sth. like this I must have a minimum ilvl, that is what I want to get, the rest comes "easy" then...
