(PC) Tiamat Trapper Encounters/Skills

In honor of the Tiamat weekend, though I'd start a discussion on what encounters and class skills you use during Tiamat for trappers.

For Overall Group Success:
The skills I've thought make the most sense would be Longstriders (to buff the group), Split the Sky (due to the number of people in a small area taking damage), and then Fox Shift. Aspect of the Pack and then your choice on the second.

For Max DPS:
I usually grab 4-5th on the chart, but never have claimed to be an excellent HR. So if I'm going for straight DPS, I typically use Hindering, Constricting and Cordon just to ensure I have 6 damage encounters going. I've started to think that Split the Sky or Fox might be better in there overall.

I'm a crit based SW with Trans Dread and 4.2k IL.

What are your thoughts on what you use in Tiamat?

Longstriders>Constricting>Cordon is the most damaging for me (I am a Pathfinder).

Fox's can be a bit dodgy as can Slasher's Mark, both can take you off ledges to your death :)

True... but only the Storm Warden Path has access to it.

Sorry to sort of hijack this thread, but what I noticed during my Tia runs this weekend is that my companion keeps on dying at some stage and I cannot summon him as I am in combat for most of the time, meaning I lose a boatload of dps. I ran the same set-up as @rayrdan but then we're both Combat I assume. That combo wrecks Paingiver (when my Shadow Demon hasn't gone AWOL :p).
    Our pain is self chosen.

If you care about paingiver it's Rayrdan's. If you have an organized group where buffs/debuffs are planned, then Krazydog is right from an overall raid-dps point of view.

Yep, split the sky at the right moment, esp. on blue, pretty much guarrentees you a massive score all by itself.
No idea what my toon is now.
