I just returned from a 2month hiatus. I jumped in a HC Farm in Bryn Sharndar for an hour or so. My cool story Broment leads to this question. What am I trying to get? Is there new armour I need to get now? Is there some bomb artifact set bonus. +5 rooster ring? Also any exploits goin on that I should be jumping on. "non ban-able of course"

You are farming for item drops but mainly the voninblod as you need it for the campaign and yes there is new gear with EVERFROST RESIST but to keep this gear maintained it needs to be also fed with voninblood.The Big Heroics have a chance to drop some good items which you can look at under 'items then go to 'collections' then scroll down to 'storm kings thunder'.

My channel also has guides to where you can farm relics in bryn shander and lonelywood these relics give you voninblod and the fastest way.

are there new weapons with this update or just gear. Also how is the gear acquired? I have been on for the last 4 days and didn't see any of it.

You need to farm the big HE's in the new areas for a chance at the new item lvl 150 boots, or even an artifact drop. Then make sure you do the dailys there to upgrade the campaign tree in order to unlock the new dungeon. In this dungeon the newest Tier 3 frost resitance item lvl 150 head, chest, and arms can drop. As mentioned before this new gear needs to be upgraded with 25 lanolin each then maintained at tier 3 with alot of voniblood. This gear will give you i think it was 8% frost resistance per piece upgraded which will help against the new frost monsters. You can also buy the tier 2 gear with a lower frost resist at the trade bar vendor or a vendor in bryn sharandar sells the shirt, pants and armor reinforcements with 2 or 3% frost resist to give you an edge on the new content untill you find your tier 3 gear. Personally i dont use this gear unless im doing the new campaign because of the requirement to continually dump the voniblood into it to keep it charged up. Also i dont feel it does my GF much good at the moment other than a higher IS.
