Question about reinforcement kits

So, I recently got Dragonflight gear. Currently working towards Black Ice Profession to craft the Elemental Dragonflight. My question is, if I apply reinforcement to the Dragonflight gear, will the reinforcement disappear once I craft it into the Elemental version? Thanks

    Yes. it will be destroyed along with any enchantments you leave in.
