I remember seeing some posts about it here or in reddit.

I could swear I saw a spreadsheet a long time ago. Back in the old days. There used to be some pretty good mathematicians that played this game. I think they left during the DARK TIME (mod 6.)

@thefabricant would either have such a tool or know of one from the golden ages....

There is i got to use it, but i cant remember how i got it, i tried it on my sw at the time and the results where minimally better with brutals over azures and azures over radiants but sw....not cw, 1 note i tried it without pots and the investment/reward was better with azures because of the price back then.

You an just simplify:

125% Severity, 20% chance base, 36k stat spread = 1:1 power:crit ratio

Or higher severity to simulate CW on crit procs:
160% Severity, 20% chance base, 36k stat spread = 2:3 power:crit ratio

You can do it more accurately accounting exactly for SS as the 800x weapon damage or what it was, but not much reason to do so.
