Harper Chronicles: Blackdagger Ruins

Ok, the title may change, I'll update this thread while I explain (with my awesome english) what it takes to create a foundry from scratch, and deal with all the problems/bugs that may appear, hoping, that some new and maybe old authors, will use some of the tricks I use and I learned from other super-mega-awesome authors of the foundry.

So the foundry I'm doing is about "Harper Chronicles" and it takes place at the "Blackdagger ruins map."

Open the foundry and start a new quest and you'll see that screen:

First of all, you need to add a title and a description, anything will serve, even "blah blah blah".

Then I want to begin the quest at the live map of Blackdagger ruins, so how to do that?

Go to tab Story:

Ok, don't panic.
  1. Insert a Neverwinter Adventure Map
  2. Drag the objective "Dialog"
  3. Add a Quest text
  4. Select the "Mysterious traveler" from Blackdagger Map.
  5. Add an animation
  6. Add a dialog "Blah blah blah" will be ok right now.
Many thanks to @iandarksword who told me how to do it.

We must remember to add in the description of the quest, "first image", to specify to travel to "Blackdagger ruins" so the player can begin the quest there.

    Go to the tab MAPS:

    1. Select Outdoor
    2. Search for Blackdagger Ruins East
    Isn't that amazing? The map is completely BLACK!!!

    Ok... don't panic. We can use the 3D feature to add objects to the map and forget about the use of 2D map...

    So thinking about the story of the quest, I thought about some principle tasks, but nothing detailed yet:
    1. Talk to the mysterious traveler to begin the quest.
    2. Go to a secret room where you will receive the tasks.
    3. When you exit the room you enter in the new Blackdagger map you already created. (It must be at night).
    4. Head to Blackdagger Ruins until you find a secret door that goes to a dungeon underneath the fortress.
    5. Slaughter the dungeon denizens.
    6. Exit the dungeon and get the "super-mega-awesome" reward.
    Ok, so I need:

    Secret room (Interior Map)
    Blackdagger ruins East (Outdoor Map)
    Dungeon (Interior Map)

    Let's go for it.

    So create a new map:

    Select an "Indoor Map" and "Empty Map (Custom)"

    With the (2)Layout selected drag the "Human interior room Small L 01" to the map.

    Then select (1)Detail and populate the room with as many detail assets as you want:

    So right now, I found 2 bugs, one is the map of "Blackdagger Ruins East" which is totally black and useless in 2D, and if you use the "Candelabra 04" asset you'll see that the flame is at the botton of the object and not on the candles.

    For that map, there'll be three scenarios:
    1. You hear a patrol incoming to your position while you approach the Blackdagger ruins. You've two options: fight them or hide and evade combat.
    2. As you approach even more to Blackdagger ruins you'll hear about another encounter going to your position, again you've two options: fight or hide. (This time it may not be a pirate patrol, maybe some wild life)
    3. When you reach Blackdagger ruins you need to "stalk & hide" and evade the pirates until you find the "secret" entrance to the dungeon. It will be easy, because the pirates are in a mad party.
    This may be easy to build, but it's not. I'll explain later how to do it.

    Based on the map of Blackdagger ruins, I find that there are 7 towers with their corresponding walls, I'll try to copy that structure for the dungeon:

    As you can see, I'm using some of the dungeon customizable rooms, they're two story, so they may be good examples as building blocks for the towers.
