So I had some vorpol shards in my bank for a while taking up space, I never could afford a blue ward to enhance it. Last night I was bored and messing around so I took the shards and 2 green wards, the one that give u 1% chance of upgrading, and first try got a lesser vorpol enchantment. Along with the one in my trident, I'm now a little closer to perfect vorpol.

    WOW! I try it all the time when I have four of any enchantments and it always fail. LOL..

    I literally just did it to get the bank slot the wards were taking up, didn't wanna just toss em, and there was that 1% . I've never been that lucky.

    That is lucky. My 90% chances fail a couple times sometimes. and 50% takes me over 5 tries every time.

    I did the same thing yesterday - I hit 70 on an alt and picked up my lightening enchantment. Rather than blow a coal ward or use up the inventory space I just hit refine - my mind was blown when it worked!

    This is where the game world follows my real life - So I mention in the PS4 chat they "HEY IT WORKED" and my friend says, I really need one of those, can I have it. And my super giving self says, "okay sure." I hand it to him, he equips it and thanks me profusely.

    Before realizing that it was the freakin enchantment that I actually was going to want for that character - or could have sold for a ridiculous amount in the AH.

    Oh well

    I just wished they would modify the % of failure to about 10% for the level 7 enchantment, 5% for the level 8 and level 9 make those 2% and than level 10 and up go 1%.

    This way, we have a small chance to make those lower end enchantments.

    Yeah, I've never been able to make over lvl9 enchants

    R u talking regular or weapon/armor? Regular are what, 10% failure or 5% or something.

    I was told anything above a 9 requires the player to invest into a Coal. Ward.

    I'm sorry I'm not dropping $10 to upgrade an in game item. Not happening.

    Exactly, a ward or the enchantment is not worth 10 irl bucks to me

    I got lucky yesterday, killed Lostmauth and got the horn. Then opened a lockbox and got a plaguefire which I sold for 300k

    I got lucky over the weekend because a friend got lucky. He ran LoL and got two of the necklaces in one run. He ran it again and got the belt - since he already had the belt and only needed the necklace, he gave me the belt and necklace - YEAY LOSTMAUTH SET!

    So I didn't get lucky but I did.

    I wonder if the Lanthander artifact is still account bound or did they update it to be bound on equip? If it is updated to bound on equip, I wonder how much AD that artifact would generate. Would it be a few million, say like 10M or more?

    A friend said the Lathander Artifact is still account bound - and another friend promptly found on Saturday late night. He said that it is bound so he couldn't trade or sell it. I forgot to ask if it was BOP or account bound. I would hate for my TR to find it when it's the Healer that needs it.

    The luckiest, I guess, that I have been so far is when I ran my little brother around the stronghold doing some heroics.. showing him things he could try to do. One of the heroics gave me an epic sword knot - for a companion. Barfsauce.

    It use to be bound on pick up. Mod 8 changed it. We have that mod so it won't matter for you. It is Account Bound. I was hoping mod 9 made it bound on equip. Guess not.

    EPIC off hand in the strong hold? It was purple? Huh...I see rare ones all the time.

    It was definitely epic (purple) from a heroic encounter reward in the stronghold yeah. Sorry I'm not sure what it is called, but I don't think it is an actual off-hand. It is a sword knot for a companion. Bound to account, so I think I just put it on my blade companion I bought in PVP. It is nice stats, I just haven't put much thought, effort or care into companions yet.
