Low Crit DPS build suggestions? (PVE)

loverideloveride Member Posts: 19 Arc User
So my friend got tired of the buffing debuffing, quit the game for a bit but is coming back to join me in DPSing stupid dungeons and overall horse play. He happens to have an owl bear cub. So looking to push a low crit DPS build and I'm looking for overall suggestion for Rotations, preferred paragon etc. If anyone happens to have good rotations for this, thatd be awesome. I'd even consider checking out older builds that might have some viable traits.

My issue is a personal lack of knowledge for the Cleric. and my buddy isn't really back into the game far enough to be trying to look up a builds and such.

I'm on xbox so were currently on mod 9, but mod 10 coming up it doesn't hurt to be a step ahead, so any help from our PC brethren would be appreciated!

    Side info:

    My main thought process is disregard crit entirely. and focus on these stats: Power, Arm Pen (to 55-60 res ignored), recovery, and Deflection (I'm under the impression Clerics give some sort of self heal so lifesteal doesn't seem like a smart thing to invest into.

    Armor I've personally consided:

    Dusk Restoration boots -> Power/Recovery
    Dusk Raid Braces -> Power/Recovery
    Elven Assault Coif -> Power/Arm Pen
    Elven Restoriantion surcoat -> Power/Recovery

    Rings:
    Rising Power
    Rising Focus

    Def Enchantment: Silvery (Deflect)
    Offence Enchantment: Silvery (recovery) or Cruel (Recovery/power)

    Artifact set: ??? Idk if a full set is worth for set bonus and equip stats

    Artifacts:
    MAIN: Wheel of elements (for that fire 30% damage buff) ->HP/Power/Stamina
    Black Ice Beholder -> ArmPen/Recovery/CA (contimplating Black ice set for 10%damage bonus, otherwise Lostmauth)
    Lostmouth -> ArmPen/Power/Control Bonus
    Kessel Sphere -> ArmPen/Power/CA
    Scourge Sigil -> Deflect/Power/Stamina

    Other Artifact Options:
    Lostmouth -> ArmPen/Power/Control Bonus
    Apocolypse Dagger -> Deflect/Power/Companion Influence
    Forgehammer of Gond -> Deflect/Power/Control Resist
    Sigil of Great weapon -> Power/ArmPen/HP
    Sigil of Hunter -> Power/Recovery/Stamia
    Symbol of Air -> Power/Recovery/Movement
    Heart of the Black Dragon ->ArmPen/Recovery/AP

    Companions:
    Air Archon
    Fire Archron
    Yeti
    Owlbear cub
    lliend (Main companion)

    Stat wise this seems like a logcical armor set, but Encounter and feat wise is where I'm struggling.

    righteous is the dps tree for clerics. If you looking at the owlbear for your major contributor for dps then you will want to use AOEs and DOT's (I'm assuming owlbear procs on dot ticks, if not you can scratch dot's from that option). chains is probably going to be your go to encounter with flame strike as your go to daily. Other encounters to consider would be divine glow (dot and small aoe) and possibly searing light (aoe). Twisted weapons for the extra power, rising power and sudden power for the rings. artifact set isn't really worth it just get an AP neck and waste and whatever artifacts fit you stat curve the best.

    I personally am not sure of how it will be procing, we'll probably do some testing. I'll look into the feats in righteous and play around with those combinations.

    Daily will be flame strike

    Encounters will be: chains of blazing light, divine glow, searing light?

    I don't know much about how the DC encounters full ton outside of the worded descriptions.

    I forgot to mention artifact wepons. Twisted is a definite for this.

    So disregard artifact set bonuses? If that's the case it'd be best to push for gear for the stats and that might need some push.

    set bonuses only account for a few % points of dps meanwhile you have to take stats you don't need to get them. This is why i believe the mis set is superior. I have lol set but feel that going to imperial for neck/waist and a better artifact would more than make up for the dps difference from a set bonus.
