Unremovable "special quest" notification - "New task! Acquire first mount"

I think some recent platform update flipped a bit somewhere or something. I've been playing for a few weeks, on XBox One, have a L70 CW with multiple mounts... but I have a new notification under Special Quests telling me to go to Protector's Enclave to purchase my first mount. Can't find any UI or setting to clear this, even tried going and buying a mount and that didn't clear this, and I can't find any other way to make this notification go away.

    Me too. I wrote a ticket just in case. Hope they'll fix it at some point cause it's annoying. I'm on PC actually.

    Same issue here. I've been playing for almost a week now since I installed this on Xbox One. I don't know how this happened.

    Same problem here, they really need to patch this. The bright yellow arrow is very annoying.

    Seems to happen to 'new' characters and doesn't matter if you do the quest on the right timing, out of my 9 characters, 2 have this issue, the ones I created after Alliances patch (I think...?), you only see the arrow when you look at the Special quests, but yeah, its annoying af!

    I and I'm pretty sure others would very welcome it if you guys could FINALLY ADDRESS THIS ISSUE. It's been going on for a while now. Mod after mod...

    My horse Special Quest is bugged/ i bought a horse before i new you got a free one... and now that quest wont go away

    ive had this yellow arrow in the top right corner of my screen for a year now because of this lol its very annoying
