The current setup of the preview server is missing a few things that would help players out a lot. Many players not only use it to test things for upcoming patches, but use them to test how things work. I think the following things should be added to preview for everyone (I apologize if these are available but just unknown to me):
1 - VIP Rank 12. I can't see how making someone go back to their bank, or back to the entrance to move to a new area, would harm testing in anyway. If for some reason a required thing was being bypassed due to VIP, it could be disabled.
2 - Vendor with all set bonus gear (even if the gear does like 5 damage), to allow people to test out bonuses.
3 - ALL Zen Items Free. This would help dramatically reduce the number of questions regarding what a box does, what a campaign completion does, etc. If this is not available because you think it would reduce purchases on live, then I don't know...I can't see people using test for actual gameplay.
4 - Fashion and Dyes for free on a vendor.
5 - Ability to reset the "Time Gates" you have on your toon, so you can get through content faster. Things not being tested, or forcing users to repeat things for DAYS just to test for you, are not good scenarios.
I'm sure there are others, but with the goal of getting more things tested, I think these would help greatly.
Thank you.

- Better testing Dummies: some with DR >0%, some at lower health to allow for testing healing.
- Weapons with no damage variability (wep dmg is one number consistently)
I like all of your suggestions, but I think some of them are quite a bit to ask. We want to be careful that folks aren't just going to play on the preview server instead of live altogether.Additionally, the more "differences" have to be maintained between preview and live, the higher the chance that something will work differently on preview and live, which would defeat the purpose.
There's definitely a balance / compromise to be found, and I think right now preview could do with some additional features that would benefit both the community and the devs.
