Guild assault gaiters

I spend 4k guild marks on these boots cuz i liked the looked and wanted to dye them moonshadow to fit my look.... but the dye only dyes knee caps and the boots stay brown... Kinda stupid there should be some warning that the dye basically doesn't work on them and or some way to test these things before you end up wasting all kinds of time on them. FFS
