[PS4] 2500 scourge warlock needs help

Hi all,
I'm a new ps4 sw player that needs some help. Although I played pic when it first came out to level cap 50, I just recently got back into the game when it launched on ps4. I have read and watched several guides for sw and I am currently following Gaarlanx's soul binder damnation build. Of course I don't have all the bis gear and artifacts, but making steady progress towards it. As stated in the title my ilvl is currently around 2532, with purple gear (dusk, elven, ichor - forgot the name), enchantments at level 8 and 9, using negation (armor) and a lucky lower terror (I got it in 1 try without a ward). My companion is the sw pack one, but no bonding stones, while the mount is the one that gives 1000 crib and 1000 arm pen. My stats right now read about 102k hp, 10k power, 40% crit, 95% crit sev, 60% arm pen, 750 recovery, about 15% action point regain. I can't quite remember my defensive stats, but so far not having any issues with survivability. For powers and feats I am using exactly what garl suggests, and my rotations usually go mark, TT (if available), WB, DT, spend sparks with SS, use at will to build up sparks and in between cooldowns, rinse and repeat.
However, I seem to be missing something or just not being fast enough on my rotations. When I run demogorgon master and normal my dps is always around 11 million, while similar level warlocks are hitting 20 to 30 million. In epic dungeons the same issue is happening where similar level warlocks constantly do almost twice as much of my dps. Running elol I had about 16 mill with a similar sw and a gwf hitting close to 50 million and the paladin tank out-dpsing me with 18 million. So I am thinking either I am doing something really wrong, or the sw is just not for me as I can't seem to get my rotation right or fast enough. My questions are: is there anything that I am missing? What could I do to improve my damage output besides continue to level enchantments and gear(please note that people of similar gear and enchantments are having better dos than me)? If it comes down that sw is just a finicky class that you just have to get it really right in order to achieve best results, is there a more forgiving dps class that you would suggest I try instead?
I am really at a loss here guys and any help would really be appreciated. I am not looking to be top of the charts, but just competitive with people of similar level, getting tired of getting the comments around if we just had more dps we could have done it quicker or got gold instead of silver. Please help out a fellow lost warlock!

Focus on bonding runestones BEFORE item level. Ilvl will get you in to dungeons but you will be sub-par without bonding.
Lostmauth pieces individually, stats wise are not so bad, its more the full set bonus which is ruined and not worth pursuing anymore
