UI locks game

I was attempting to type something into the chat window when we were teleported into the boss chamber (Lostmauth). When I tried to exit, the UI froze up and I could not back out of it and regain control of the character. Control was only regained after death.

    Had the same thing happen to me a few times already. I had just died at the very tail end of the Lostmauth fight and my UI completely screwed me. I was unable to release to campfire and since I was already dead, the only way to fix it was to close the game. Can't begin to mention how infuriating that was.
