Is there an upper limit in PVP, where more ArPen is just a wasted stat? 140% RI? 160%? 180%? I get a little confused on DR and Tenacity interaction, not to mention Deflect being yet a separate layer.... There are definitely players that seem virtually untouchable regardless of RI.
At any rate, if I'm wasting stacks of stats, I'd like to find out!

I've seen that on Combat HR's but not on a GWF.
I think *Lancer* last posted 130.5 RI. I believe IcyDrake last posted 160 or 168 RI. I haven't noticed much difference between 140 and 156. I was just curious if anyone had tested this out or put together a spreadsheet comparing ArP vs Tenacity/DR.
I think your standard average player will have roughly 130% total DR you need to cut through so GFs will have a bit more thus being harder to kill and something like and HR will have less than that making them easier to kill so it's just an average number I think.

I only have like 90% RI now, it seem to work fine too lol
I run about 120-130% RI, reason being I have fought a lot of CW (double bubble build), GWFs and GF at 90% RI and it was like tickling them with a feather ( I usually ended up dead). I have found that optimized for me as a SW was 120-130%. This RI gives me enough punch to get through their heavy defenses and T.Negation's/Feytouch's synergistic effects.
I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.

I run 135% but it definitely seems like it's wasted.

Ah, so you have been changing things around. :-)
I know when I went from 90% to 120%, back in Mod 7, I noticed a real difference. And I've put on some ArPen since then, but wondered if it was being wasted. I just threw my AxeBeak out the window for some other stats.
Now if I could just find me a BI Warhorse....

Those are some good stats to have on file. I was curious where other folks drew the line on ArPen, thanks for that as well!
It is much easier to say 60% for PVE than decide what you need for PVP. That 60% came from players publishing tests--in that case Lazalia. PVP goes off into the stratosphere.

Edit: @thefabricant With the new PVP sets breaking 4000 tenacity, does that change your calculation? Would that put it closer to, say 110 RI?
