Hunter Ranger - Blade Hurricane

FEAT DESCRIPTION: Using a melee encounter gives you a buff called Flurry, which lasts 2 seconds. While affected by Flury, dealing damage with a melee at-will triggers 2 additional attacks, called Blade Hurricane, dealing 165% of the original damage each.

NORMAL BEHAVIOR: This feat is supposed to give you a set time frame to use at-wills and trigger Blade Hurricanes after each encounter.

BUG: The problem is that the actual time frame you get varies wildly depending on the encounter you used. In most cases, Flurry starts before the end of the encounter's animation, preventing the use of at-wills for a part of Flurry's duration.

Here's a chart showing how many times I found Blade Hurricane could be triggered, for each encounter, using Split Strike (quite slow), Clear the Ground (somewhat faster) and Rapid Strike (quite fast).

(1 trigger = 2 attacks)
(X.5 means sometimes X sometimes X+1)

    Another thing about Blade Hurricane

    Why does Blade Hurricane deal lesser damage to Bosses

    Blade Hurricane should deal about 165% (more or less) Damage x2 per At-Will,
    once Flurry is triggered of course. I noticed at some Bosses the damage from
    BH was only 120% (more or less). This was the case at
    Svardborg to Storvald and the Manticors,
    the "Giants Among the Dead" on the Stronghold Map,
    same against the Devils from "No Sympathy"
    and others.
    At Demogorgon and Goristro it deals 165% x2 by the way, which is correct.

    I also changed weapons for testing, same result.

    Can anyone confirm this?
    And if so, is this a bug or works as intended?

    For a Combat HR BH is very important.
    It would be nice if BH works with all enemies and, by the way, Seeker's Vengeance for melee generally.

    I'm sorry btairborne you are right. I had the information from the comment in the video from the wilds class forum about the longstrider playstyle.
    The author said at 7:25, the class bonus of aspect of the pack stopped working. So I had to be more specific. He brought an update, that it does work except for rank 4. Honestly I don't know, if this was patched in the meantime.
    Anyway, I edited my comment above. Thanks for the clarification.

    The player does 75% damage against monsters 73lvl. It's not a bug, it's game mechanics. 165%*0.75=124%.

    Aspect of the Pack works correctly. AoP offhand-bonus is not working.

    With the devs likely to start working on mod12b soon I figured I'd try and bring this old bug to their attention again.

    I updated my post for clarity and updated the chart with Split Strike and Bear Trap.
