Unable to use Bid Button

I saw one other reference to this on reddit.com. I assumed that guy just left the game, tho I am a fan of NWN games so have been playing for now.
I have not been able to make bids from my account using any of three characters. The bid button is always gray. The buy out button works, but few people list a buy out price. I doubt the professions can be used to much extent with this bug, but possibly mediocre, high level play might be ok. I will have to see.
I do have refined astral diamonds of sufficient quantity as listed in the Riches Tab
