About the Quasit Comapnion

As Far as Augment Companions go they do not take damage from mobs or AOEs from my experience. However, my exp is limited to augment companions being stones that float around your head. Does the Quasit take damage from mobs or AOE thus resulting in death and loss of the augment companion stat bonuses?

Would like to know this from first hand experience of people that own the companion and not the "wiki" definition of the augment Companions please.

No, it does not take damage. It doesn't attack either

What Tkny said pretty much but you gain a portion of its stats I have a ioun stone companion at legendary with 10% chance to slow and I gain 15% of the companions rating.
