Is this what awaits endgame?

Ok so a few days ago i hit lvl 70 and got my gs up to 1600+ and thought ide run a couple of tier 1 dungeons. I loaded up Isles of Tuern i believe it was and within seconds i encounted a GF not willing to tank but think hes a dps and not even attempt to hold argo. After several mins we got to the first boss and the wipes began. After many attempts ppl started to bail so i thought ok, maybe i just had bad luck. So i loaded it again this time the tank was new at tanking (not a big deal) and he did fine til the boss. Couple wipes ppl start getting irritated and the name calling begins to shoot up from a HR about how bad he sucks how useless i am (SW who was about 300k dmg ahead of him and he was 2100+gs). Is this the norm for endgame cuz if it is im going back to FFXIV.

not really normal no. no one is geared up yet. no one knows their roles yet. it's a new game still. on xbox you could pug ok. usually not the highest caliber of players but much much better than what we see now. I always would just look at my fellow players before starting. if you have a bunch of 1800's you want to quit. in this game everyone is 1800 or lower just about. I imagine that will change over the 2x rp weekend. I don't know how long xbox was like this when it first started up. I joined in a bit later. I'm encountering people who think they're doing really good at 1800. SMH.. I'm all like, GEAR UP!!! it's just gonna take awhile for people to figure it out.


you'll want to join a guild where you can play with premades that can breeze thru that content.

Game has been out less than 2 months. People are still learning roles and advanced fighting mechanics. Give it time.

Also helps joining a active guild and running dungeons like kessels too for practise and to farm. The afk thing is a problem tho which will hopefully be sorted once the booting system works.
