Request for help getting Presige armor

I'll probably get flamed for this, but humiliation in PvP land is nothing new to me, so... here goes!

I currently have the Elemental Burning set which I've had since the first couple weeks of M6 (it's getting smelly), and I'd like to upgrade to Prestige. I consider myself an above average PvPer, but with an IL between 3.6K and 3.7K, unless I get lucky with the team, I'm pretty much screwed since I'm not quite powerful enough to carry a team on my own. That means, I manage a win maybe 1 out of 5 matches... maybe. There are some very good PvP folks in my guild (a few are much better than I am), but Greycloaks is hardly what you'd call a PvP guild, so there's not really a culture of PvP premades in the Cloaks.

Yesterday, post mod launch, I started on my quest for the 30 wins needed for the Prestige armor. I had the misfortune to come up against a premade several times in a row and got ruined... completely. They kicked my booty so hard that, after the match, I re-spawned in PE and then dropped dead (some nice folks came and rez's me though).

So - pointy hat in hand - I'm looking for help from all you pvp guild rockstars that typically hump my dead body, or jump on my face while I'm lying in a pool of my own blood, to help me replace my stinky burning set by letting me tag along on your premades - only until I get the seals (I can earn Glory the old fashioned way - by letting you rolfstomp me repeatedly, and I've fine with that).

So, here's looking at you Synergy, EoA, Gutbusters, RW Force, Nikostrakos, the Expresses etc... what'cha say?! Will you help me? (please?)

Time to Change guilds perhaps instead of begging... why would a pvp guild want to take you as their 5th man when its a new mod and they have their own members to worry about .. are there not hundreds of people in your guild ? lol

Given I founded the first player-created guild in Neverwinter and have stuck with it for over 3 years already, I don't think I'll be abandoning it for a set of gear. Since, really, there's not actually any competition other than theoretical, I'm appealing to those folks that might be willing to help, that's all. I wouldn't expect anyone to team with me over a guildmate or alliance member, but in the event they've got (say) 4, hopefully I can be the 5th. Not everyone that is into PvP are complete a-holes. To the contrary, I've run into some really cool folks in PvP-land, in particular from Midnight Express (et. al.) and Gutbusters but I also know RW Force is has some really fair-minded people too (especially now that school is back in session......)

So, it's to those willing to help a guy out that I'm appealing - if you don't want to help, that's fine too, but I figured I might as well ask!

Hopefully, they'll bring back NCL one day so we can all have fun in PvP again

Bro.. i know youre all humble and all but you shouldnt beg...
Do what everyone else does(at least me...) take the good with the bad and join pvp by yourself...some fights will be imposibble but some will be manageable,,... so good luck

That's what I'm doing - hoping to make the daily win a little less painful and perhaps actually doable, since I'll go some days with loss after loss until I'm out of time. Since I do PvP regularly anyway, this isn't begging - rather a request for help. I don't intend to not keep working at it regardless.

Naw, IMO the stat increase over Elemental Burning isn't worth the tradebar cost.

dont beg, be strong. grind like true neverwinter player and be proud for your gains, not like that guilds easy mode have set second day farmers

Knowing Kvet for a long time(beta myself) hes request isen't to much to ask for considering he been out testing stuff in this game to help you others for 3+ years.

Few if any in this game has done as much testing to help sort out the worst bugs so if you don't want to help him at least stay away from any flaming he most probably deserve a lot more respect then you...

we know but premades are precisely theorycrafted, no pve noob can spoil them. not mention the possibility they can be eventually matched against one of the strongest premades premades can created these days and lost because of him

we know but premades are precisely theorycrafted, no pve noob can spoil them. not mention the possibility they can be eventually matched against one of the strongest premades premades can created these days and lost because of him

True enough but we all know that some run 3-4 when bored enough with the trivial daily content and no premade going.

He is not asking for premade vs premade he is asking to be taken in from time to time so that he don't have to face 10xpremade in a row with 2IL pugs...

Anyhow he still done enough for this game avoid bashing imho...

i dont bash, i say sad truth as sarcastically as i can. still not enough probably))

anyway, dont care about what pvp set you have it will not make any difference. Kvet just should wait a little time for that solo duo que system or for a longer time imho. nothing to loose, nothing to gain in current environment

"PvE Noob"- that's funny. You really have no idea what you're talking about. One winning match a day (since, this is about Seals) isn't going to ruin anyone's "precisely theorycrafted" day of pvp grinding.

I for one will have no issue asking Kvet to fill with my group when only 3 or 4 of us are queing . I Que siege all the time solo because my mates hate it after they got lions mane gear. kvets done a lot over the years for us as a group and Vinceent1 is a good guy but always a gloom and doom attitude that's just the way he is I think its to do with bored

good for you but i think you know that many premades are not unknown players friendly. (unknown pvp performance)

pvp in this game is doomed and gloomed through and through thanks to cryptic and players and i like to say publicly what i want. we are on discussion forum and not some gaming vchat, where players meet every day to have fun. hope better times will come someday

Correct me if im wrong but 1 win a day is all you need to eventually get the armor no? Also since im a pug with an even lower IL then you I'll say this: I would not join a top pvp guild premade even if they begged me. Stomping random people is below my human level.

Kvet, surely someone at the guild can make adamant for you? As a former cloak, I'd do it, but mailsmith's can't make CW gear. Adamant is about the same as Prestige without the set bonus.
