I have been away for a while and I am returning.

I know they removed caps from stats around mod 6. But I read some information on a recent thread by a user stating:

Cap is 80%, as far as I know you can stack every stat as much as you want, all curves are linear for main stats like Power, crit, recovery, HP, DR

Arp is not linear it is getting less rewarding at about 20k

AP gain, incoming healing, stamina gain, combat advatage are softcapped, above 1500 its wasted, most stick with 1000.

So stacking DR only serves inderect to your group buff from ITF, but T Negation also adds 10% Inc healing and recovery, wich makes the enchant BIS, esp. for tanks

Can you knowledgable peeps on the forums please confirm if combat advantage and AP gain have soft cap diminishing returns? (and if so, what are their soft caps?) I would like 100% confirmation before I invest into a build
.

Thanks!

About 1,000 CA/AP gain and other secondary stats works out to be about 8%, 4,000 CA/AP gain etc would net you almost 11% and in the middle at around 1,750 is about 10%.

Off the top of my head but it's roughly thereabouts.

There are some in game mechanics caps:
Armour Penetration 60% is enough for all mobs/bosses in PvE.
Damage Reduction is capped at 80%.
There is no point going above 100% Critical Chance.
AP/CA/Stamina/IncomingHealing Gains have dimishing returns, going above 1500 is not worth it.
Other stats are linear, Critical chance and Power being most important DPSwise.
I'm not sure about Cooldown Reduction & AP Gain if going above 100% is worth it (possible at least on DC, maybe OP too).

There you have a formula, which seems be the most comprable with this one from the game.

    (8*1.42) - (8*1.42) / (1+((((1/(( level*0.06)^2) )+0.148) * stat / (800/60) )/8)^1.42) )*0.01
    Check if you copied good, for stat = 1000 & level = 70, it's should be 8,13%.
