How about, if we are to have say...Seals of the protector to purchase armor, that oh say when we run those dungeons we don't get booted by the bviously FAR superior game players who have no use for us in THEIR dungeons/ skirmishes. Or, here's a novel idea...how about making it possible for those of us who don't have time, but make the time to be rewarded for our efforts instead of being kicked. I gave up a year ago, BEFORE the item restructuring be a use although I'd end 30 minutes on a crawl with randoms, I'd end up getting booted when the final enemy/ boss was about to be defeated. Talk about B.S. Oh, and to go with that B.S., what's the purpose in nerfing a character class in PvE, when it's PvP junkies who whine about it? Really tried to get back k into this, but the ability to boot someone from qued event when that qued event is the ONLY way to earn the rewards is just low. And no, I don't HAVE to play, but I have contributed real monies in support of this game. Beginning to regret it, and really starting g to develop a stereotype of the select individuals who abuse the system and stil, get rewarded for it.

So are you saying that you would rather keep trying and failing at the boss until the entire group leaves, then you are stuck in there alone? Or don't you think it makes more sense to bite the bullet, man up, and just leave if it is clear you are the weakest link. People won't kick the DC or the GF most of the time. People won't kick the SW, at least not until the nerf finally hits (bout time). So at that point there is only two options to kick, and people will generally kick the person who did the least amount of DPS through the dungeon. Which makes sense.
I was in a rando CN PUG, we blazed through most of the dungeon. (mainly due to my Overpowered SW). We get to Orcus and the GF could not take any of his hits, and the DC all of a sudden looked like a fresh lvl70. The dungeon took a turn for the worse and we tried 5 separate times to beat Orus to no a vale. So I decided to take a look and see if we could kick and hopefully get another SW, or at least some other ranged class. (It was SW(me), DC, GF, 2GWF) So I looked at the dps and saw that one gwf had only put up 6mil damage the entire dungeon. So I told him I was gonna kick him so that we could at least beat this thing finally, and he said he understood. So he actually left himself, we got* a SW in, and we beat Orcus.
If you're on regularly the easiest way to get into runs where you won't get kicked is to join a guild that is part of a good sized alliance.
Edit: your original post looks like you're talking about boot & loot - that doesn't happen anymore as all gear is bound. There's no more booting just before the boss dies, people will only start booting if it looks like the boss WON'T die!
I suspect your knowledge of the class is outdated - you should check mmominds for current build & gear recommendations.
