New to Neverwinter

So I haven't played very much and am trying to decide what class fits my play style. In past games I tended to either tank or heal. I have looked over a few things about the classes but still haven't been able to narrow it down. I know i don't want to dps, that has never been a real thrill to me. I don't know the game well enough to make a "informed" decision. With my schedule I would have to run in random groups more often then not, so I want to play something that groups will be happy to take. What role is most in demand for randoms?

There's always a good demand for healers, most prefer devoted clerics. I have a feeling though that during the next mod, tanks will be in short supply, but that's just a gut feeling.

Guardian Fighter is also a safe bet. Groups always need tanks and the GF is more useful/popular than the OP.

Not for long. When mod 10 hits, GF and OP will end up being equally useful.

That depends. With lower dps (from the ITF nerf) it's quite likely that holding aggro will become more important for groups & until CryptIc address this the GF still has an easier time of it.

Thanks for the information. I decided to level a DC and a GF keeping them around the same level at least until I find a guild I can run one with.
