Max AD allowed spent...still

I bought many varied and sundry things from the auction house. suddenly a message popped up say that I had spent the maximum Astral Diamonds on the Auction House for the day. This even caused me to miss out on upping my bid on an item and I lost my chance to get the item. I did not know this was a thing, especially since I've never had the AD to buy any real big ticket items. I've never had more than about 130,000 at a time.

So I was upset and confused but figured no problem, I'll get what I need tomorrow, the Gond vendor should be around after the event for a bit. The next day I went to the AH and selected a purchase...and was told I had spent the maximum AD that day. I don't get it. All other Daily things, Dungeon Key, Tyranny Of Dragons Dailies, all that stuff reset, my calendar backs me up on my assurance that this was in fact the next day.

What gives?

Cryptic loves to be inconsistent and unforthcoming with what it means by "day" in any (and every) given usage. Sometimes it means when invoking resets. Sometimes it means a 20 hour timer.

I'm lvl 60. Also yes I forgot that invoking did reset as well. If it is a number of hours, does anyone know when it starts the timer? As in X hours from the last purchase, or does each purchase amount "fall off" after X hours like bad credit?

sigh, I just hope it doesn't bug out and no correct itself when it should...
