Motes not dropping (Weapons of Air)

The motes aren't dropping for this quest. I did heroic encounters with others but still not dropping i don't know what to do! Help please im new to the game (far as first time playing of course XD)

    They're not guaranteed drops, except for the major (10+ players) heroic encounters. If you use an Air Seeker's Wand (available in the trade bar store, or on the AH if someone is selling one, though air isn't terribly popular as a choice) then the drop is guaranteed--albeit one per encounter.

    The wands are a great resource for mote farming, I went farming for fire mote this weekend and got the last 97 with only 2 wands. It only took 6-7 hours.
