Red circles are the double stacks.

Clearly, I don't have close to all three types of each refinement type, and I'm still at over 8 bank rows used. Including the first 2 free rows, that's 3 bank increases just to store my refining, 4 if I count what's required to store the extra half bar. 600 zen each, 1800-2400 zen to store refinement.

If this is a tactic by Cryptic to force zen sales... please stop. There are way more acceptable ways of getting people to buy zen. This is just tedious, demeaning, and downright abusive to the playerbase.

It's a problem, exaggerated by the fact that you probably are waiting for a 2XRP event.

That said, they won't change it. There are well over 160 types of RP (assuming 3 statuses) and many arguments and ideas have been offered to change it and gone no where.

i used up old outgrown tier 1 whites marks, just small amount.

as other said, use the alts instead of buying bags or slots, to move those unbounds until you need them during 2x rp value days.

i hate those versions of boundeds (characters/account wide), i accept account wide since you cant sell to others. if you get any bound to character, use up asap or save if you large inventory until next 2x rp value.

With Account bound Artifact main hand and off hand, you can move them to other alt to consume some of their character bound RP.

Thats actually a very good and too obvious tip

Personally, I use the inventory of a single alt to store all the non-BOC RP. It includes some wasted time in mailing, but it is ok since I know that Cryptic won't change something.

The reason is that they want to sell inventory, but they're indeed not doing it fairly. There are three (!) different binding rules, and items with different binding rules don't stack. This is a problem since what should take one inventory slot takes up to three at once. I understand that adding new junk to fill scarce bank and bags slots is intended, but they could at least not do such ridiculous things and allow stuff to either stack properly or allow us to make everything bound to a character if we want to.

Nice idea diogene0! I love the solution of having a drop down menu to make anything I want bind to character. I can't see how that would possibly be abusable, and it would absolutely solve the "too many stacks" problem!

I hope a mod reads this and passes that idea along.

Thanks for the tip that I could use them as RP, I had forgotten that.

For me at least, I have no problem using them non-double refine, however at the current moment I don't have anything (other than enchants) that I _can_ refine. With mod10 around the corner I started saving things instead of deleting the bound stuff.

I'd love it if artifact refinement could go into enchants, even if for a significantly lower number of points.

Many ideas have been given, all have been ignored. Even one of the mods (who happens to be a great guy and a guildmate lol) came up with using the Blackice idea for RP....and nothing happened. They seem content with us having to buy character slots, or bag slots or guild slots to store all this stuff. And why wouldn't they? It all takes zen out of the economy.

I think you discovered the reason why more bags are sold.
unbound/BtA/BoP for power/union/stability/reso/thaum for common/uncommon/rare makes a LOT of bagspace. Bagspace equals sooner or later $$$ for PWE.

i would like to see a RP container in the zen store that you can drop any rp item into.

if the container costs 1000 zen and holds up to 5m rp and when you use it it will always be of same type and x2 like the event.

i would like it to have a slider to be able to choose how much to use and after using the full 5m the item will be used up. thus making you buy more containers.

bags you only buy once these you would buy again and again so win for us win for cryptic

The more they push effing inventory the more resistant Ive become to buying ANY more bags.

But clearly most of the morons out there will not listen to the old, stop GIVING them money for trashy moves debate.

They can wallow in mud , Im not buying another bag as long as thiere are character bound items in this game, ACCOUNT bound and BOE only .
