Question about empowered

Hi!

I am new to the game and i have a question about the empowered version of our powers.

When I have full divinity and I unleash my empowered version of a power, do I still get the original version of the power or is it ONLY the "empowered version"? (Only the text in the enpowered description?) Does the "original" version of the spell apply aswell as the "empowered" version? Because the cooldown starts when I unleash an empowered power and it would be nice if I got the benefits of the "original" version aswell as the empowered.

I hope someone understands what I mean

You can't turn off Empowered. So if you have a full set (three of the blue spheres around you) the next time you cast anything without divinity it will be the Empowered version. Empowered is original + something by design. We don't get separate cool-downs as that would be too much. You can machine-gun your spells with Divinity already.

That's perfect. I think the game could be a little bit more specific about that. I always thought that the EMPOWERED-version was just the text after the "empowered"-text and nothing more. Good news that its "original" version + "empowered" version
