HR and SW need massive boosts to burst damage and less or no DoTs. Making GWF have no defenses is not a way to solve the problem. You guys have experienced Icy and other max IL players and somehow think it is GWF that is immortal. We are not, trust me. It is insignias, Negation, Feytouched and a combo of all the toys together. The best solution would probably be to place Countless scars further up the Sentinel tree out of reach of Destroyer. That is the only thing that would not kill the class.

No. GWF and DC should be tanky and GF and Pali should be tankiest. The other strikers are light armor and should not be tanky, they are glass cannon classes. Of course, Strikers should all do around the same amount of DPS with light armor classes doing slightly more due to being more squishy. But, no way should a light-armor class be able to face tank an armor class.

We pretty much always were til Mod 6. Ya, some BIS GWFs used the cheesy Intimidation build, but overall GWF was useless as a DD. So, no I do not want us to go back to that. But, I think the other strikers need a boost that does not capitalize on exploits like HR and SW do right now. They should all do roughly the same damage. The other classes will do more anyway due to Dread enchant, which is pretty bad on GWF.
thats not a clear answer but at least is something. so lets talk of something i know better: archery hr and combat hr. if they dont need to have survability on par with a gwf but dont have any control, are they allowed to do more damage than a destroyer gwf? @defiantone99
It is my feeling Trapper needs to be nerfed to the ground just like Oppressor CW was. A control tree should not be a DPS tree. As far as DPS goes, Archery and Combat are not viable atm, so I will withhold judgment til I see them fixed and try them myself.

It is not a good question considering all of the other strikers can be tanky. TRs have ITC, SWs have Soul Sparks and CWs have shield and a great dodge. There is little evidence, outside of subjective GWF haters that GWF is more tankier than them. Most posts I read say nobody dies in PVP unless ambushed by a GF or TR. There is even a video of an HR soloing ECC with no potions and standing in the fires on the ground. Lazalia had to use potions and stay out of the red.

No one wants GWFs to be an easy kill, people were just pointing out the observation that GWFs are borderline impossible to be killed by other striker classes 1v1-wise, which is fine but they shouldn't have this level of tankiness while having very high burst damage at the same time.

Ugh... I would NOT describe the CW's as great dodgers. Maybe it's just me being laaag-tastic, but my CW ends up pausing for ~0.5 sec @ the end of teleport. Queue the death knell.
That is GWF. It has been that way since day one and always will be. GF is even worse and it is not even a Striker at all. Crying for nerfs will not change the fundamental basis of the class since it was created. So, let it go and quit trying to ruin the class.
Don't even need to nerf GWFs, just need to give piercing dmg back to CWs and HRs and I'd love see who would be crying then.
Yes, we discussed it 1 million times and it will go on in the follwong 5 mods if nothing happens, so there is need for balance. Only a bunch of "no-brainer" will stick with this kind of PVP or the game at all if we do not get anything worth to stick with in endgame. PVE will never fill that big hole.
