All right, show of hands, who's....

....been curious enough to trigger the demonic encounters in places like Blacklake as a lowbie and found themselves splattered all over the Sword Coast for it?

I've realized that you probably have to have the Maze Engine daily quest active for the triggers to even show up. But still, a wise idea for lowbies to clear out of any area where demon encounters are going on before they get a free trip to the nearest campfire by air.

All for the low, low price of an injury kit (some conditions apply).

And yes, you have to be level 60+ to trigger them.

I didn't exactly, but I did splatter some poor soul who was trying to burn the supply crates and entered the ring when he was done.

I think the mobs are programmed to murder lowbies. I recall one time doing the nalfeshnee fight in black lake. I saw a lowbie CW burning crates nearby. After a friendly warning they stood outside the circle to spectate. I had the silly thing down to about half health when the lowbie decides to help. They toss one magic missile and somehow get agro. The nalfeshnee turns, takes 3 strides, then bats the player into next week almost as if it was indignant at the very thought of a lowbie attacking it.

Nalfeshnee: "You insolent swine...." *blasts lowbie back to Protectors Enclave*

You: "Man, I wouldn't talk....have you checked a mirror lately?"
