New Gear to Keep Ya Warm

This is the new Pally Oath gear. This is compared to the Dragonflight armor I'm currently wearing. No difference until it gets upgraded to T3 with the new Relic thingie......at which may provide that extra Ummph ya need. At the moment it looks the same as Dragonflight on the Preview.

Gonna need more inventory to hold the gear for the Frosty Giants and the Demons.

    Why remove this BS mechanic from IWD only to add the same thing back to this?

    I'm just going to skip this content. Grinding for gear that's only useful for a single campaign/area.

    Forcing people to grind gear to survive new content is bad. Encouraging people to grind new gear because it offers something unique, much better.

    Agreed. That temporary BI upgrading mechanic was a lousy addition - can't believe they brought it back. Losing more faith in the new regime by the day...

    Not on the initial preview version. You have to charge the armour with Black Ice :s Based on my brief play in the first area of the new zone, I will be giving this entire mod a miss. The new armour is only needed for the new zone, but without it the new zone is going to be unplayable. So my simple solution will be to not play it. Sorry to the dev team but this feature is a game breaker for me. It adds nothing to the game but detracts immensely from the fun of playing. Seemingly endless waves of wolves didn't help much either.

    Just a thought based on when Black Ice Enhanced Armour: will some of the new dungeons and/or skirmishes have a minimum Everfrost Damage Resistance Requirement ? If so, that will be yet another reason for me to skip playing any of the new zones.

    And here I thought that terrible mechanic would be gone for good.
