As someone who's played Righteous for about a year but just switched I would recommend Divine Oracle. You should go to the Clerics class forum and check out Sax's de/buff build, it really is excellent.

DO gets access to foresight (+DR) and a feat that adds debuff to your Brand of the Sun at-will.
AC gets access to Anointed Army daily and a feat that adds a power-sharing aura to your Blessing of Battle at-will.
If I had to make broad generalizations: DO is better suited to PVP, DPS, or debuff focused builds. AC is disadvantaged in PVP, but allows for maximized power buffing and AA spamming in PVE, making it a great choice for heal-buff focused builds.
Ultimately, your paragon doesn't matter as much as which feat tree you spec into (Virtuous, Faithful, or Righteous). I've seen viable builds of each flavor for both DO and AC.
