Buff companions, and add extra pet companion SEPERATE to the standard companion

In Neverwinter everyone I've ever played with has always said companions are super "Squishy" (meaning they die quickly) regardless of how much a player buffs them or however much money they seem to spend to do so. And After playing this game since it came out for console (xbone) I've come to the sad conclusion what I've been told all along is sadly correct. Companions across the board need a buff, if not to damage then perhaps to health and defense, or grant companions the ability to level up to 70 right along with their adventurer comrades(aka US) and then upgrade beyond lv 70 based on their rarity maxing out at 80-Lv 130(legendary) that way when we invested time and effort into that companion in the long run it would very much be worth it.
"Pets"
a goat or chicken shouldn't flipping count as an epic level companion it should count as an Epic level "PET"
chickens, owlbear cubs, bulletes cubs, goats, etc.. animals like these shouldn't be meant for fighting but instead accompany the adventurer and companion by boosting stats, healing or recovering stamina, and providing boosts to all party members.
For EXAMPLE: an owlbear cub would provide 5% regen when standing still to it's owner & 3% extra armor piercing (stackable per owl bear cub active) to all party members self included. Again an example.
Look it's PVE after a while we should feel more powerful and heaven only knows how useless our companions are in higher tier areas, this is one method that Could fix that.

Let me know what community thinks of this idea? could it work do you think it should be implemented would you like having both a companion and a pet helping out you and your team/guild etc.? just keep it friendly please and ty.

For high end characters the current companions work just fine. I think the issue is some people expect certain things from their companion when in reality they are all really there to boost your stats. Get them boosting your stats well and forget about them doing anything else. It does not matter if they die because they revive soon anyway to keep buffing your stats.

And yes I am talking about non augments boosting your stats via bonding runestones.

Earth Archon is the closest companion to invulnerable I have seen in this game.
Used one to get my CW and Cleric through to seventy and ranked up to epic or beyond the thing just wont die (different in epic dungeons but even there they are damned tough to kill!
As for the Augments as Indicated above they are just animated boons who cares what they look like, all companions are basically buffs on the hoof so dont see any need to change things tbh!

I can understand if you're a DC that needs a companion to agro a mod and stay alive long enough to wipe the mob out but as already mentioned, companions are use to buff your character. They aren't great for high end areas but you should be using them to buff with bonding or using an augment, they only seem useful for low level characters while leveling up.

Also Young Yeti is one of the best tank companions I've seen, that's a beast
    Guild : Straight Outta Neverwinter

    Leo (TR) 2,4k
    Maus (GF) 2,7k
    Lucifer (Sw) 2,4k
9 other scrub lvl 70s(mainly AD farmers and banks)

My mercanry companion can almost solo the spider attack heroic in stronghold, yeah he dies sometimes but maybe he is strong enough. And he draws more agro than my TR so he does his job very nicely. I am ok if he dies as a striker, some of the defensive companions I have tried definitely live longer, the shield maiden, earth archon and neverwhatever guard seem to be pretty tough.
