Acquire First Mount

Hello, I have had this quest forever even though I'm pretty sure I've completed it. It comes up every time I level when I press "U". Any ideas on how to finish it or get rid of it? Thanks.

    What happens if you click on it to get started? With the new mount system, there was a new mount quest. You may have done the 'old' one, but not the 'new' one...

    Might is not always right - the powerful sometimes forget that.

    I've tried talking to everyone. It does not show up in my journal as a quest either. I'll give it another shot I guess. Maybe I'm not talking to the right person.

    It's a bug. I have it on 2 of my leveling characters.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    I've also seen this on several characters of mine that are leveling up.

    Have it on a few of my characters as well. I hadn't played for a while, then started playing again a few weeks ago and all my new characters have this bug including my level 66 one. Have got all the tips when obtaining the mount, viewed it in the character screen, looked at it in the stable, and equiped it with an insignia. Need to dismiss the level up window every level.

    Am also getting this on my characters. Ironically, I get it whilst sitting on the horse that IS my first mount!

    I have the same problem. I started playing NW a week ago, now I am level 31, and I still have this task hanging over there, having two horses in my stables already.

    Just started playing about 3 weeks ago..Both my characters are stuck with this deal as well. Nothing permanent to be done about it on our end it appears. Just keep dismissing.

    It's a thing like this, or the broken character origins, or the arc launcher-caused game crashing, etc..Little things that makes it difficult to believe this game was released just over 3 years ago.

    I have the issue on old (was away for 18 months after mod 5) and a week young toons (which are all leveled to 70)

    I used both free mount tokens to buy a mount and I added them to the stable.
    Quest is still there. There are worse bugs. Nevertheless it is annoying.
    If anyone finds away to get rid of this quest please post!

    heh, my CW still has the Dread Ring in his list. Have all the boons from there.
