There are some people that got directly hit by major changes, so it is quite expected such would voice their feelings.
The problem probably is when player can see an obvious error for a long time and repeatedly. Till lvl 70 you can simply move onto another content. But since lvl 70 you can mostly either complain or leave. People who leave do not complain. The complaining guys do not want to leave otherwise good game.
Personally I left the game for a year because the 60-70lvl period was for my character ridiculously tough and after that I ultimately hit a wall in therms of vicious circle: to get better, I needed new gear + to get new gear, I needed to get better. In the year of my absence this wall disappeared. So I think some things are improved over the time. On the other hand this exact fix made quite of the mechanics known to me obsolete, but still present in the game. (I do not understand why it was not removed.)
Now I really enjoy (sarcasm) the in game Pony Race Simulator (The Maze Engine Campaign) clearly designed just to force us buy better horses. Well, I hope in another year it will get some reasonable rework like the Elemental Evil campaign got.
As I write these letters I realise the best on this game is to get frustrated, then return after a year to be surprised that it was made better. (...find another thing, get frustrated...)
Simply put... Invested way too much to just walk away

Pretty much waiting on class balance and challenging content that isn't a total grind with terrible RNG for rewards. The wait is getting pretty long, and the patience pretty strained.
I still see the potential, and grudgingly accept the diversion of effort into things like PS4 to expand the player base and viability of the game.
I believe that if they restore balance and challenging/rewarding content there will be a significant return of the old player base, but I guess the strategy is to chase new markets first.
I see you guys complaining but instead of building your own game that is better you just sit there and say how bad things are. You don't quit you just complain.
Ferruccio Elio Arturo the man who built the lamborghini. Owned a Ferrari and he hated Enzo Ferrari and the cars he made so he went out and built a better one.
Take a page from him and go build a better Neverwinter. No one is stopping any of you from doing it. Just yourself.

Ask yourself this...
How many of us are game designers?

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
Please look at Valkyrie Crusade. I know that it's an Android card game but what it differs from this game is this. The company gets a game master and told to play the game without any help.
Result: Higher RNG chance to get what you want, more satisfiable rewards, more challenging dungeons, lesser grind to max level, introduces other mini-games.
This is from massive complaints that they get for several months before they take action about it.

Well, that's practical advice from you. Thanks.
Look, I think this is the best game I've ever played. That's why I still play it after these years. Also, I think that the devs we've had have done a fantastic job, module to module. There have been lots of bugs and issues over time, but consider how many years pass between releases of games like The Witcher or Mass Effect. The reality is that it takes a huge effort to put out a quality game, which is typically good for 20 - 100 hours, and then the game is over.
With an MMO like Neverwinter, many of us get invested in the game, and don't want to leave. We're asking for something that a single player game almost never delivers - a reason to keep playing, possibly for 1000s of hours, as the years roll by.
DEVs have a *tough* job: Trying to balance PvP is crazy. Trying to balance classes in PvE is hard. Keeping challenge across the various levels and giving rewards at a frequency that keeps people interested, while avoiding power creep that makes PvE content boring - is all hard. Suggesting people go build their own Neverwinter is silly.
There are broken specifics within classes, and there's issues with keeping the game challenging/interesting, leading to complaints from invested players, that always see the potential of NW, and basically want to let the DEVs know where they're at. It's kinda like "please do something to give me a reason to stay!". As a matter of courtesy, it would be better if all complaints were worded more like helpful suggestions (which is the norm in specific forums), but when certain conditions go on for a lengthy periods, people get frustrated. They hold on, wanting to believe, having faith. Recall how many years typically pass between releases of games like Witcher or Mass Effect. In a way, complaints are a positive thing. They show the interest and dedication players have. Most importantly, they let the DEVs know where invested player heads are at with the game. It ain't easy
they should have PVP skills similar to "Guild Wars" to prevent some mess up with PVE skills. some players complaining about other players have better skills or outmatched by gears than others, and yelling at devs for "nerfings"

I'm not angry...life changes and the game changes. Sure, I've been upset with these changes...anyone who fully embraces change has never been nickeled and dimed to death...but I've rolled with it. I came close to quitting when the big Leadership nerf happened: I dropped from main plus 19 alts to main plus 6. The time it took to fully dismantle and "cash in" all those reasonably well-equipped alts also gave me time to find some perspective. At this point, I'm really enjoying my main's guild activities and my 10 alts are just the right number. Oh, and I'm pretty much okay with Leadership now: I opened 5619 Enchanted Coffers at the start of the double enchant and runestone event, and, including turnaround on keys from VIP and AD conversion purchases from these profits, I made 1,510, 091 AD from those boxes. Happy happy, joy joy.
