Commanders Strike?

Did some tests the other night with a friend, to me this encounter isn't working. My friend stripped down to raw weapon damage... none of his hits gained anything on the dummies having me place CS on them. All his hits were within his normal weapon damage range. It doesn't seem to be working?

This is another case where the tooltip lies. As I understand it from the PC guys Commanders Strike is not a buff to your allies. Commanders Strike adds a percentage of their hit as a Damage effect that counts for you. I.E. if you hit enemy A with CS and your buddy hits the same enemy for 100k and lets say the percentage is 10%, you get an additional 10k damage on the target based on the allies damage.

Misleading, but it can be useful in certain select circumstances.

Fluffy: so you described that perfectly, but I have a follow up question. Everyone says to use steel blitz as a passive along with CS. How do they have a synergy together? Does this boost damage let's say..... more so than combat superiority?
