Visual effects of armor and weapon enchantments

Why in the world can't these be turned off? We can spend all the zen we want making our character look cool but as soon as we add needed functionality to the build using either or both weapon and armor enchantments the entire look we paid and worked for is nullified.

The Negation effect especially is hideous.

Just let us turn off these effects please.

I know they have to be visible in pvp but outside of pvp give us the option to disable the visual appearance of the armour or weapon enchantment. Once someone loads into pvp they are automatically re-enabled and unable to disable

To add to this since it a bug in you go on your mount sometimes your armor enchantment wont't show up, along with if you sit in your throne. The only way around it is if your un-equip your chestplate and re-equip it. This only affects you others will see it no matter what.

You're speaking about something that makes sense now. Rule 1: NW devs dont do changes that makes sense. Just look at the loot pop-up that has been hated by 99% since release on PC. It's still there.
People have been complaining about this visual atrocity since release on X1 (and possibly earlier on PC.)

hah yeah I remember seeing posts on that when I first joined the forum about a year back - the loot popup is the absolute most annoying feature ever...
