(bad english)

i decided to make a pvp specs control wizard but to be honest i really don't know anything about this class because this is the only class i've never tried before. i tried to find good builds in google and here but i don't know if they are outdated or not please can anyone give me a link to a good pvp build? or just give me advices which paragon which paragon tree is for pvp wizards. lately i can figure out what skills (from videos) or feats should i use for pvp but i don't even know which paragon/tree i have to choose. thanks :)

edit: i made a wizard to try it and another question what is more important to pvp wisdom (for control resistance) or charisma (for more critical chance)?

Full pvp/pve cw hybrid (low gear) CW ....... Master of flame 1st paragon oppressors(freeze) with 15 points in thum 2nd paragon getting spell twisting elemental empowerment
full pvp /pve hybrid (medium gear) Master of flame or Lightning Cw ..3rd paragon with 15 points in thum getting spell twisting elemental empowerment or full rengade with 15 point in thum or opressor
Full PVP All secret builds : D very dependent on gear can be any combo really

Always take focused +30% to single target powers that you take before the paragon path ..

PVP on a Cw is about single target powers
Anything can be good for pvp its just a question if you make him less useful for pve and if you still need to get your boons and if you have enough power points as well

+ or - 1 or 2 point in int cha or wis is not going to make much of a difference compared to getting mount insignia bonuses /guild boons

That being said I took half ling (+3% deflect and 10% control resistance) with max dex and con on starting rolls .... then leveled up Int and Cha
you only want WIS if you are a pure pure pure controller build and you will do no damage at all

you really want 10-20% life steal and deflect
defensive powers /abilities actually being more important then offensive ones also more lag resistance : D

Pants / shirt are wrong for starters...drow set ... I think the armor pen is too high for a control build..depends is this is pug stomp build or true PvP premade build tho as well ...armor kits should be more hitpoints or armor pen if that is wht you are stacking
also mount choices .. some time its good to have more movement for survivability or more deflection switching on the fly
no icy terrain or ROE listed as alt pvp powers instead of entangling force or whatever all this control (entangling ) becomes useless/ less effective if you are fighting someone with elven ...also you are healing them if they have the insignia bonus to heal on stunned held knocked etc
some of those artifact choices are interesting / questionable

I am very satisfied with your comments, you always help the CW community with our doubts and your recommendations, but why don't you create a guide?

Guild boons can be switched on the fly from armor pen to power depending what you are fighting
a pure control build normally has silvery recovery or hybrid recovery (cruel) in their offense slot and ignores spell twisting in favor of more icy or control or action point gain feats..
most cases on a cw the power wins over armor pen tho for most situations ...guy that need the extra armor pen to hurt might have massive healing defenses that no amount of armor pen or power is going to help with default position should be power first...

surviving to hold the node or push someone off becomes more important then armor pen power or killing

not to mention your power gets drained by feytouched ..armor pen does not so power need a slight higher buffer since it might be reduced by feytouched anyways ...

Hi, there a couple of questions I have relating to the above:

    (1) So how much:
    -Power
    -ArP
    -Crit (I am a Renegade)

should a PvP CW aim for (I am at 2250 ilevel, struggling to increase it) ? My gear is just level 135 from epic Dungeons, and I have the Drowned weapon set.

    (2) Also, I've been keeping in mind the "build to be able to be an independent CW without needing a DC babysitter"...ie focus on building for DPS, with control as secondary. Has the capability of the CW to consistently deliver deadly DPS in PvP changed in the last mod (maybe lol set nerf) ? What about 2 vs 1 ? (obviously I mean against opponents who are equally geared and of equal ability).

I agree with solbergx, a guide would very much be appreciated if you have the time =).

Just saw the "Full PVP All secret builds : D very dependent on gear can be any combo really"...now I'm really curious.
