OK so I've played the game for awhile I have a hr to 70 a cw to 70(just recently)
And my SW is lvl 12 just started.
My question is for the end game content dungeons skirmishes etc. Which is the better character/ more survivability for the t2 dungeons my CW 2300 ilvl dies quick but I know it needs some work.

Do you want to just be straight DPS and do a lot of damage in groups? Then SW is for you. Note this though SW by themselves are weak their skills and mechanics are buggy and when they are in a group that buffs (GFs/DCs) their damage sky rockets and scales insanely. It also is inconsistent.
However, this is a bug and the devs said SW are going to be reworked. Which means their damage with buffs will more than likely be toned down but I do see an improvement to their base damage.
CWs are in a bad spot right now one of their best feats for damage dealing was nerfed with an internal cool down because of the Lostmauth set, well now lostmauth set doesn't even crit so will they take away that nerf they made specifically because of the LM set? Probably not CWs also need a buff as their damage isn't too great and control is basically useless in end game PvE.
CWs are still great team players if they roll MoF Renegade as they can buff party damage quite a lotallowing for speed clears of dungeons.

The SW however turns into a monster when grouped up in a dungeon. That really off-sets the difference & will make getting into groups a lot easier for runs so will earn you more AD.
Old Muffins in the post above isn't happy about the broken mechanics. Understandable, but this game has bugs that go on for months & months. You can roll with it and profit - or not. There is a promised class review somewhere on the horizon but as we'll most likely get a free respec when it drops, my suggestion for an easy life is 'go with what works' otherwise you're like a healadin at the beginning of this mod: yeah it does what you'd expect, "But Where's The Bubble!".

Most people play pvp for those rare 'good matches' where it's a real fight on both sides and you have to step your game up to win. It is now so riddled with problems from class balance, invisibility rings, drains etc etc that there's just no point.

Heals, unfortunately, are not needed at this moment in endgame content.
The fifth party member will either be another buff/debuff DC (preferable) or a full buff/debuff Master of Flame CW.
These combinations are a recipe for meltage.
