I may have missed a few. Trying to send out a feeler for the upcoming guild alliances system and figure out if these bigger guilds are going to be banding together, or staying seperate. The smaller guilds out there are trying to figure out if it'll pretty much amplify the problem of a few good places to go, all way too expensive, or if you guys plan on competing against each other.

And considering I did mention denial... regardless, most of the content I run, I run with 99% guildies. So my recognition of other guilds is not as high as it could be. I've been told I also missed well endowed and t.s.s.

Ruthless is a short distance away from constructing GH 18 - we just don't blow our own trumpet the way some do.

Edit: we are currently discussing internally the issue of alliances and how we will proceed, but I can say we will be looking to head our own alliance and will be looking for like minded guilds to progress with.

We have no entry fees, require only influence and all other donations are purely voluntary. We have a very stable membership base who like to run things together.

We are looking for potential 'sword' guilds with a similar approach. I.e. focused on progression, no fees to members and a good community feel.

If you feel your guild would be a good fit with us please visit our forum and leave a message for our founders team to open a dialogue.

White lotus is a guild I personally only see poking around in moonstone every once in awhile, other than that it's mainly LGPG, Genocide, Trust no one, and randoms in Moonstone.

From what Ive been told most guilds won't want to be allied up since the reward difference since the top guilds get what is it 35% cheaper build cost or time(don't have time to check ) and like a 3% exp bonus (Useless to a GH 20...) and the low tiered guilds get the exact turn around of it. So most might want to be in an alliance of 3 instead of a full blown alliance. Just things ive been told either way people in LGPG are thinking about just having alts lead alternate guilds within LGPG control to balance out donating, dragon runs, as well as easier Q's for all who are in them needing groups for dungeons ect. Still in the end correct me if Im wrong, or wait and see for yourself when it drops.

From what I understand the system will give discounts on construction cost and experience.

The math from what I've seen is: each level for all guilds in an alliance is added, giving you your alliance level. E.g. a L20 + 3 guilds at 15 would be an alliance level of 65 - or 13 guilds at 10 would be 130.

The 'helm' guild (or alliance leader) gets a discount value that is 10% of the alliance level, so a L140 alliance would give the leader a 14% discount.

The 3 'sword' guilds who are directly under the helm receive a 5% discount & the 'gauntlet' guilds receive a 2.5% discount.

From what I'm guessing this is to encourage higher rank guilds to not form exclusive high level 'elite clubs' where all the top guilds form a single alliance. The reward system appears to encourage high ranked guilds to seek mid ranking guilds as swords and lower ranked guilds as gauntlets.

A guild of 17+ will see no need to tie themselves to a rank 18 to 20 because they are not far off that themselves and would get better rewards by allying with lower ranks (by being the helm)

The advantage of this system for the lower guilds is the helm will max at level 20 and be able to zone to the lower guilds strongholds, donate to their coffer, run dragons with them etc. The helm guild members will benefit from this because the higher the other guilds become, the more rewards everybody gets.

lol I think the connotation was who the heck are they, Im in on that. i've never seen the guild tag anywhere in the wilds that I can recall.

A mid- ranked American guild. Member count is always at 130- 145.
But only like 10 members are geared for more than 3K IL.

The only reason I recognize White Lotus is they boot and looted me way back in mod 5 when a greater mark dropped on the first boss in Lostmauth..

There's a other voices other than just Indy ya know, yes he may want other guilds, but in the end if he wants everything to run smoothly (less drama ect blah blah blah) he'll have to have people he trusts to organize things such as an alt's guild memebers guilds controlled by us for those within our ranks to rank up and progress ect. If things with other guilds don't go as planned.

White Lotus is a very active guild. They house 130 gamer tags with almost everyone playing daily and donating. They PVE and PVP. They have way more than 10 players above 3K item level. Also they are stronghold rank 11 with 12 being constructed right now.

i doubt that, or it was rogue members. i ended up with white lotus in pugs all the time back then and every time they absolutely refused to boot n loot. i knew that if i had 2 or more white lotus in my group there was not going to be a boot n loot in the run.

at any rate you are dragging a guilds name through the mud for something that happened once a long time ago, with players that potentially may not even be playing this game anymore...

I have been playing since a few days after launch but before I was invited to their guild back in mod 6, I did not know about them either. I was surprised as well and asked myself how it was possible to play this game for several months and not notice an entire guild that has a lot of members.

They could go a step further and make a separate guild for each class, so each member gets access to their BiS boons while maintaining the same player pool.
Guess it comes down to just how much they're willing to poor into it.
