Game stops responding and crash.

This began to happen after the last patch whenever you give an inspect another player and 100 % of the time after the game to inspect responding and simply crash.

    Is it happening with everyone you are trying to inspect or just with certain people you are trying to inspect? Can't reproduce it here.

    Maybe try to notice if the crash-inducers appear to have a certain armor/weapon enhancements, I suppose. Is it okay to name specific players (with id's) in this context? Since that'd be the fastest way to see if it depends on their equipment in any way, assuming they don't change it.

    It would be better to PM a member of the moderation team (or request one of us PM you) than to start naming names, please.

    It's a game freeze. When i inspect a player, sometimes, the game freezes for 15~30s and a window pop-up "GameClient.exe not responding". This occur while loading the "Character Sheet" window.

    So I'm just curious here is there anyone else notice if we inspect someone (with right click on their portrait because if I'm inspecting someone who is near me so I just click on his character it is not crashes) then the screen crashes? If I'm doing this I still can hear the music, can see my cursor but can't do anything on the screen. So, it is only for me or it is a new issue? Please, and sorry for my bad english, I know it is hard to understand.

    Edit: Ahh, and it is happens everytime not just once and I always forget it so I have to restart my computer XD About ten times a day.

    There are a couple of recent bug report threads about it. Look for ones mentioning crashes and/or inspecting on the first page.

    No definitive source, though historically this sort of thing is linked to weapon/armor enhancements, but there are definitely several people reporting this issue.

    i also think there is lag and a eventual timeout and crash if the to be inspected player is in another zone.
    Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost"

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    Since a couple of resets ago I'm getting more crashes than I used to in general, this has only affected me once so far though. Commonest crash for me is loading into an instance, the load screen will pop half way then stay there, if I wait 15 mins I used to time out and get returned to the login screen but now it almost hard locks my laptop. It used to be most common on DR map but now happens when loading PE or even SH now.

    My client locks up when I'm in a dungeon instance and inspect someone who is not in the instance yet. The character window opens and displays "invalid" something where the name normally is.

    I've been getting this too and it seems to happen randomly and only then the other person is in another instance. I inspected a guildie while they were standing in front of me no problems while in the strong hold. They went to PE and I tried to inspect them again and it crashed. Next instance of it was just now, someone Quit from a Throne skirmish and a new player was added, they still weren't in the instance yet when I tried to inspect them and the game crashed there.

    I've also been getting this, also it feels more sluggish when it first starts up on the Cryptic loading screen... I understand this could just be my system though, but if it's not just me and this helps...

    the crash happens when you try to inspect from chat. if the player is in pt or next to you it doesnt crash.

    It's been impossible to put a Pug Q group together as the game freezes every-time I inspect a player. This started happening on Saturday morning to me and some fellow guildees. It only seems to happen if you try to inspect from chat as I have had no problems if the person is stood next to me.

    Same issue here..never happened before but now it crashes whenever i inspect other toons. Started after saturday here too.

    (I have terrible English.)

    I know not I'm the only one who noticed this crash bug with inspecting people, right? But today I just realized there is also crashes the game when you tryna create a new character (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), or accept a new boon in campaign window, or accepting a new quest. These are crashes the game too and it all happens with me today. How the hell should we play if we can't accept any quest or create a new character without crashes? I wanted to create a new DC for the sigil but I can't and I tried it 4 times = 4 crashes. You must fix this issue as soon as possible you can't wait for thursday's maintenance with it!! FIX IT!!

    And yes, probably there is already a topic about this bug but I **** don't care if they don't care about us I don't care about their rules too. FIX THIS ****!

    happened to me as well, when inspect the game just crashed! but not everytime, sometimes i can inspect just fine
