PSA for Devs: Luck is not a basis for awarding achievements

For future reference, the achievement "Boundless Ability" is a terrible achievement to include. If you need pure luck to do something, it should never be a requirement for anything.

Sure, you can stack one ability to increase your chances, but for that I'd have to re-roll my character. No thanks.

    Making you build your toon a certain way is nothing new for the devs. I mean, even more recent....you have to be DPS to get the Castle Never achievement for kills. So either you stick to a your usual support role, or you re-roll to become DPS. They don't care too much about making people spend money to get certain achievements. In fact, they assume some real achievement hunters will spend boo-koo bucks to re-roll countless times to get all the achievements.

    You don't need luck to complete this achievement. You just have to choose that one trial that asks for your main attribute. If you are a cleric go with the wisdom trial, if you are a rogue then you better take the one that asks for dexterity.
    And if you should be a GWF then take that trial where you have spent the most attribute points. My GWF has 26 STR and 28 DEX, i took the dexterity trial and had no problem at all.

    They give away heaps of Race Re-Roll tokens around Christmas time, you could wait until then to re-roll :)

    yeah I still have three left from winter fest and I re rolled my hr A LOT playing around with it I wouldn't re roll for an achievement though

    You do if you don't have any stat over 25 other than strength! If you have another way of doing it please share, instead of just saying you don't have to re-roll.

    @kuero21 no you didn't. You mentioned using your GWF with stats above 25. How do you suggest getting the achievement if your highest stat is 22?

    BTW I already know the answer and it isn't rerolling.

    Ugh...just noticed this after doing it yesterday. I did it wrong of course.

    Anyway,

    Can I simply re-do the quest?

    yes, just talk to bruenor battlehammer. the option to replay chapter 6 will show up first after you have completed chapter 10, though.

    if you are at 0/15 daily quests then you have completed chapter 10 already. talk to bruenor battlehammer. select the white option below the quest task, then choose the chapter you want to repeat.

    If you're lucky enough to have a 22, you can push this to 25 using Campfire buff, Potion of Heroism and Elixir of Fate. If you don't have a 22, you might be able to push it up to 22 using one of the +4 attribute belts and refining it up.

    My Main Attribute is WIS at 22......
    I am confused as to why you rolled such low stats to begin with... toon generation spells out what your main stats are and even while leveling most people focus on just a couple individual stats.

    I mean to each their own but I just find it weird thats all.

    The gear suggestions as well as potions and campfire are all solutions for people who need to roll a stat up to 25.

    There's always someone who'll roll a Tiefling GWF or half Orc CW then take whatever their first roll is. Usually these are the same people that choose the Catalogue...

    This is actually my Alt which I'm going for broad based stats. I have a 4k GWF with more focused stats.

    I've never chosen the catalogue ;)

    I've done the same, even named a character Question of Balance where the goal was to keep all 6 stats as even as possible. Many forget what the RP stands for in MMORPG. But unlike you, I took the Catalogue. Works for fun and as a feeder.

    Best DPS, best stats is not always the goal of a player. Having fun or trying something different may be.

    Or, you could be in a good guild that lets you get your damage in before you kill him. That's what I do.

    I think you are in the wrong thread. This thread has nothing to do with being in a guild or killing anything, it's about the stats and how they effect the results of the drinking game. Maybe you wanted the Orcus kill thread?
