Icewind Dale Needless Distractions bugged

I usually roam icewind pass and get credit for some heroics so I never noticed before the past 2 days...but Heroic Encounters inside Dwarven Valley are not being counted for credit towards the Arcance Brotherhood Daily Task Needless Distractions. The black ice gained from heroics in dwarven valley is counted towards goal completion, but it will not count Heroic Encounters in Dwarven Valley. I'm sure it is just an oversight and shouldn't be too hard to fix, but if it is...I guess Im forced to Icewind Pass until it can be corrected.

    I know they fixed the 'issue' with Safe Keeping which is the Ten Town daily. It requires you to collect 300 raw black ice and to complete an heroic encounter. Before mod 9 that heroic encounter could be anywhere in the game (although the quest said in IWP or DV) but now it has to be in IWP or DV :(

    I don't mind it being in Icewind areas...it's the just iwp part that bugs me, I only do dwarven valley now that I unlocked everything. It doesn't even count demonic....which it used to and I can understand, although they are "heroic encounters" within the given zones of conflict.

    I've running into this issue on the Xbox for about a week. Although I have met the criteria to complete Needless Distractopms several times, the quest will not successfully resolve. The quest journal shows that I have not completed the "Complete Heroic Encounters" portion although I have completed several heroic encounters in Icewind Dale.

    Replication steps below:

    1. Accept the Needless Distractions quest in Icewind Dale from Anara the Curulean
    2. Successfully collect Black Ice
    3. Successfully complete a heroic encounter
    4. Quest not complete. Completion of heroic encounter not being recognized.

    I've done this quest many times in the past successfully up until approximately a week ago when I noticed the error. I've tried unsuccessfully to resolve on my own by resetting my Xbox and logging out and in again.

    As a workaround, I am able to accept and complete the Safe Keeping quest from Bowen Brant.

    Until they fix, the workaround is to do a heroic in icewind pass. It does count and accept them, regular or demonic.
