It's a bit misleading. I would say, he's a very well equipped DC in powerbuff groups: 2xDC+GF, DC+2xGF, WoL, Wheel of element, ITF, HG, eBtS, mount buffs, rising rings, edemo weapon set...and more. Big hits always on empowered DL and only after all the buff are on. I suppose he never see those numbers when alone, but indeed that DC he's quite powerfull.

Yeah i tried to get all buff i could bring with me. When i'm alone on dummys, my daunting light bareley never goes more than 600k empowered. The aim of this video is to show the biggest numbers dc can do in party. So yeah, to everyone, don't think i'm always doing those kind of damages.

So would you say for lesser geared DPS DCs the Orcus set beats the eLOL set in terms of buffing one's own dps when other classes party buffs aren't available?

Orcus will always be better than elol set. Elol set is doing only 2% of my overall damage. Orcus is way better, that's why it's so expensive. If you can affort it, go ahead but don't forget to keep your 5k arpen cap
Hmm curious if going Orcus is the right path CON is pretty useless for Righteous DC in PvE.
I'm on Xbox and am thinking about running no set keeping the lostmauth necklace but swapping the horn and belt both for Tiamat. +2WIS and +CHA will be a flat damage increase and Combat Adv. increase.

Personally, I've never tested the set of Orcus. Now I have no figures to show. However other classes like gwf affirm the superiority of this artifact. So I can only speculate. Rumors say that it would work rather well since his fix. I think there is a small advantage in the set of Orcus. However I do not know if it is worth the investment for now.

@thefabricant reviewed it for cws and says that the damage can be calculated as [(%Player HP)-(%Monster HP)]|/5. This would mean in high dps parties you will probably see almost 0 benefit on trash clearing. Most everything is cleared in one hit. Then you look at boss fights as being the primary audience for the set. Where best case scenario you are at 100% health and the boss is near 0% health and you would get a 20% dps increase. At start of the fight you and the boss are at 100% or near 100% so no bonus. Outside of those two scenarios it would be pretty unpredictable and hard to calculate/manage.
I think it would give the highest increase of any set bonus but I'm not sure it would make a difference of more than 5% with LoL giving me around 2-2.5% atm it seems like a costly upgrade for such a small change. Personally I am betting that Imperial Neck/Belt with Book of the Dead mixed set will be best on my build but have been unable to test it yet. Also keep in mind that getting a belt with wisdom can help with healing (still matters on a right dc) whereas the damage set bonuses do not.
None of these are game breaking in terms of competitiveness and ability to finish pve content.
