is it possible to invite someone once you start a private instance and it needs to be changed so abandon instance isnt the first thing you see when you press start
If you're talking about the new queue system, I don't think there is. I'm not sure about anything with the new queue system anymore. It was so simple the way it was set up, and now they have it to where once you que up for something, you have to play whatever the queue leader wants to play, so you may never get to play the skirmish/dungeon you need to play to finish a quest or advance in a campaign, and as far as I can tell, there's no way to become queue leader, like you can't que up for some skirmishes or dungeons and have other people join with you, unless you're already in a group. So as far as I can tell, leadership is more than likely random. It's ridiculous, and shouldn't have even been changed. It was fine just the way it was when you could que up for something, and that was the quest you played. Why change something that wasn't even broken?
yes, this new system is clunky at best... will take us all a while to learn it and like it im sure... there are far more benefits than losses in my opinion...
Yeah clunky but with better options. We'll get used to it soon enough I guess.

Well I am gonna post here on this thread with a similar complaint about the que/skirmish/dungeon queues.
Let me start off by saying I am new to the game, just started playing this week, with a 27 ranger and 24 rogue. I play with a tight knit group of 4 friends, and there are usually two of us on at a time, upto all 4. We are really enjoying the game and the content. So I am knew to this system with little knowledge of past queueing systems.
The people I play with like to take our time and enjoy the content and gameplay. We take the time to read what the devs and creators took time to write and create. So far the content has been pretty easy in teams of 2-3 and even solo. So when it is time to "explore or dungeon CRAWL" we are always teamed up with others, there is no way to play them without other players, if we do not meet the quantity requirements. example, me and one of my friends want to take our time and run a duo dungeon, say 'clock tower'. We cannot it does not let us que in a private one, it always puts us with someone else. I know this is an MMO, and is about interacting with others, but we want to enjoy the content ( being it is the first time) and when we get queued, 99% of time, the person is speed running it because they are veterans. I am not knocking them, they already did it and just want the rewards, I get it. This is really the case in skirmishes. I think the stormhold one (19+ one) with the gnolls and pirate at the end is great and would be amazing and a challenge if we could do it with just our group 2-4 of us and not demand 5 players. Every time I did it, (forced through the queue) it has been 1-3 guys at the end of the skirmish while I am still enjoying the scenes and searching the first two areas, let along not fighting a single mob.
My question is, is there a way to do these queues with just my friends and group, so we can enjoy the game at our pace and have a challenge to boot? We tried the private ones, but it only drops composition requirements and not quantity ones. I really love the game and the content, but I want to enjoy the content at our pace, a new player pace, and enjoy the dungeons and dragon aspect that we all loved from tabletop experience and not the sprint to end get phat lootz pace. Remember some people are playing this game for the first time and really enjoying it, but we do not have 200 gold and are still building our resources through looting exploring (kits) and killing as we go.
Now I know, people are gonna recommend joining a guild for find like minded people, to search for a like minded group, etc... but the chat windows in my opinion are garbage on the xbox, with spam heaven, and we are all working adults with families and just want to get into the game and play with our friends in the limited time we have, instead of spamming that jumble of chats looking for another.
sorry for the long post, but I really enjoy this game with my close friends and we want to enjoy all it offers!!
I'd love the chance to queue with just your mates for epics.
