Ring of brutality proc

I have 3 ring of brutality +4s and 1 on my character and 2 on my companion. I was wondering if the 2 will proc on my companion or just 1?

    As far as I'm aware 2 of the same ring type don't work together on your character OR companion.

    You'd be better switching the 2nd one out to something else (rising power or adorable bites).

    Yeah only have 1 equipped on whatever you are using them on. I have one on my Companion as it procs at the start of combat and passes over the extra power during Companions Gift... One of the reasons to have a fast proccing Companion :)

    Nope. These rings don't work on augments as they never really "enter combat".

    I have a ring of percission +4 and focus +4 in my merc and neither one is working on him. Check in combat last night and no stat bump on him at all from them.

    @reaper you will not see the stats on the companion sheet go up, you can only tell the stats have increased by looking at your own stats sheet when Companions Gift has procced.

    You sure? My wife had it on her augment and it never procced; had to switch rings with character to having it working.

    One thing I noticed is these rings really aren't all that great on a companion.

    Sure you're almost getting 12k of a stat for your first initial burst of companion gifts. But after it runs out they're out of sync and you're getting no buff from the ring aside from the enchants.

    Trash mobs are trash mobs and die fast regardless if you have that buff and sometimes they're dead before you can even get companion gift to proc. Now bosses are longer boss fights and you'll find that sure you'll get a nice buff from companion gift and the ring of Brutality, for the first few seconds of the fight. But the second proc of the Brutality will already be used up and on cooldown by the time your companion is ready to reapply his gifts.

    I honestly think you're better off with other rings to give you constant stats and not have to worry about Brutality being out of sync.

    The point is that Gift will proc 3 times along with the ring every time your Companion dies as well. This is why a Tank Companion is not really very good for these rings.

    My Legendary Merc dies just enough to keep getting back up and proccing during Hard/Tough/Drawn Out fights. By the time the 3 Gifts expire you kind of want him/her to die :)
